Fall ‘23 was the first season/collection I worked on at Sergio Tacchini. I truly worked from initial sketch to finished product. I help sketch new designs, techpacked styles, owned the lab-dip/knit down approval process, emailed/communicated with our oversea factories on a daily basis, and then worked through the production stages once the styles were officially adopted for bulk. I updated BOMs and ensured they were updated throughout each stage and also attended fittings and communicated with the factories all of the necessary changes to ensure the initial design intent was met for each garment.
Sergio Tacchini is a heritage tennis brand at heart. See some styles I designed/sketch for the Mens and Womens collections that can be worn both on and off the court.
The Foro capsule (seen at the top of this page) is one of my favorites. I designed/worked on these styles for Sergio Tacchini’s “Tennis Club Performance” line —featuring moisture-wicking fabric with a subtle stretch and perforated ventilation panels to keep you cool, on and off the court
This process started by sketching a performance-ready polo, t-shirt, and shorts with perforation details. Then, I created the perforation artwork on Illustrator. Scroll to see the process of placing the printed artwork on the garments. After rounds of strike-offs, protos, and multiple fittings—it’s really exciting to see the finished product
I am currently a Designer at Sergio Tacchini. There, I concept ideas, design and sketch technical flats for current/upcoming seasons. Manage material sourcing, build development techpacks, create/update CAD sketches, and ensure BOMs are accurate throughout bulk stages. I'm familiar with working cross-functionally with the Production team from sample development to production handoff to ensure accurate execution. I have worked with multiple product/fabric categories throughout my years of experience. The fabric categories include: knit (cut and sew), woven, sweaters (fully fashioned), seamless technology, and performance fabrics. In my current role, I work on all product categories for both the Mens and Womens collections. Overall, I work with the product throughout it’s entire lifecycle from initial concept to finished product.
If you scroll all the way to the bottom, you can see color ideation from inspiration images that occurs at the begginning of a new season.
During my time at Bagatelle, I was able to design for several retailers under multiple labels (Bagatelle, Avec Les Filles, Boston Proper, etc to name a few). Scroll below to see some of my designs that were/are available to shop! From shackets to faux leather moto jackets there are some fun pieces that I loved being a part of— from initial sketch to creating the final production techpack.
I was a remote Freelance CAD Designer for a L.A. based athleisure brand called SET Active. I drew garment technical flats for them based on their existing products or new samples when they arrived. With those technical flats, I illustrated multiple colorways and created linesheets and presentation boards for the brand.
Cut and sew knits is one of my favorite categories to design for. I also have designed seamless products with an overseas factory that specialized in seamless technology.
Scroll below to see a seamless 2-pack set deck I created for a buyer. The deck features designs and colorways that are perfect for that athleisure lifestyle—that will take you from the gym to your next Zoom call.
If you scroll down further— you’ll see various knit development I designed and tech packed, along with graphic knit tops that were bought by JC Penny and faux leather knit bottoms that were bought by TJ Maxx. For the garments that were bought by customers, I worked from development techpack to production techpack. I’m very familiar with being hands-on throughout the production stages. For these particular two styles; I collected bulk color standards to send to the factories, commented on graphic strike-offs, and for JC Penny I saw bulk color fabric lots for approval, etc
The first cropped cardigan style/techpack shown was shipped under the 7 For All Mankind label for TJ Maxx. The cardi features a basic shaker stitch with a rib stitch placket and cuffs. It’s so cozy!
The second sweater features a shawl that is also a hood. I was excited to turn this cut and sew idea into a sweater tech pack. Making sure the specs were just right was a major component in this idea working out. Giving the factory base pattern pieces to use was beneficial.
I was an Online Personal Menswear Stylist. In that role, I reviewed client’s quizzes then shopped from various brands to find pieces that match their aesthetic and lifestyles. I styled overall outfits to present to the client. As a stylist I love figuring out ways to articulate someone’s personality through clothing. Here are a few examples of outfit collage boards and descriptions I’ve created:
Throughout my career I have worked with multiple fabrications, including wovens. This section shows a woven flared sleeve top and matching shorts set that I designed. I sketched the technical flats and created the development tech pack for this lounge set. This style was adapted under the 7 For All Mankind label for TJ Maxx, so it moved through to the bulk stages. I also created the production techpack and gathered all of the necessary standards to sent to the factories. Getting to be a part of the entire garment lifecycle is one of my favorite parts of my job. I’m able to ensure the initial design intent is intact throughout he many stages.
You’ll also see a denim jacket that was purchased by Nordstrom Rack and Winners Canada. I designed this jacket, along with created the development and production techpacks for this style. I also created the daisy embroidered repeat artwork that makes this denim jacket really fun and unique. I was also able to comment on the embroidery strike-offs during the bulk stages.
There is also a woven long sleeve puff sleeve top included that I designed. This style was for development only. But the final prototype turned out really well!
This section highlights outerwear products I have designed and techpacked. The first onion-quilted coat was designed for Nordstrom NPG under the Avec Les Filles label.
Then if you scroll further down— I show how a mood board I created can be translated into technical flats and CADs that would ultimately be techpacked.
